He is one of a number of players that the board and Pep have to decide whether he is part of the next rebuild.

We are now feeling the impact of not having a succession plan and things move quickly in the premier league.

100 points , 98 points 81 and this year already 2 points behind last year after 5 games having beaten West Ham we know with this squad and the fact our squad is more injury prone than ever due to aging and a number of other factors some not in our control has to have a major rebuild.

We should already have a replacement for Kun and Ferny and their are grave doubts as to whether the likes of Mahrez , Rodri, Cancelo , Gundy, Stones, Mendy and Garcia should be part of that rebuild.

Many of the current squad are just not suited to and possess the ability and quality to what is now required in sides wishing to challenge and obtain title success.

They have to be replaced by players that are.

This squad is certainly not going to win a Champions League even if the squad was fully fit and everybody was available for selection.

Even if the injury situation improves we have a significant battle to qualify for Champions League next season.

its critical to get in the right players and get them in both efficiently and effectively.

As somebody said there was a time not too long ago when we didn't have to be concerned in the slightest when sides were going to put up the white flag in the premiership.

Now every side and that includes the likes of Sheff Utd will see us as a team they can defeat.
