Hughes has stated that his teams always perform better in the 2nd half of the season.

Why is this do you reckon.

    1. Fitness?
    2. New faces?
    3. New sytems of play

or is it cos he buys them all a massive christmas pressie which they all appreciate and are therefore more likely to perform for him and the Club?

Probably the pressie bit. Is it true that his teams always perform better in the 2nd half of the season? And if it is true why the f**K has he not worked out a way of getting them to play well in both halves of the season?

Mind you it needs to be true this season :)

Can't just assume though that things are going to turn around because they "always" perform better in the second half.

Does anyone know any Rovers fans that we could ask this and a few other questions?

Well because he is a really, really good player.
But tempting players to a team in 17th is going to cost a few more 000's then a team in 7th.
