Most of our 2nd half performances especially at home have been the way we use to play a full game pressing the game into the opposition's half and creating more than enough openings to win the game! But for some reason for most of last season and all this season we have only played this way in the 2nd half! Is this down to fitness? Players age catching up with them? Or pellers ordering these tactics? (Which I can't see as I don't think he gives out orders!) When we play in this way with a good tempo we look by far the best team in the league. I throughly expect us to go back to this kind of football next season under pep! But am struggling to understand why the change in strategy from 1 that served us so well. Don't know if this needed it's own thread so mods merge with other threads if need be! Thoughts people?
