With our first team sitting clear at the top where would this lot come in the league.

......................Caballero
Zabaleta...Demichelis..Otamendi...Clichy
.............Fernando....Delph
Roberts.........de Bruyne........Nasri
..................Bony

Think you've got De Bruyne as a ringer, It would have to be Iheancho in there. But i reckon they would challenge Liverpool or Spurs for 5th.

Feels a touch disrespectful to those players listing them as part of the second XI, but I had the same thought this morning.

No. I chose from those players not in the starting XI this season. Thus Navas in first XI, Nasri not. Kevin has not played yet so goes in the reserves.

obviously swap de bruyne for Navas and would what you have be enough to beat sunderland away in the cup ?

i think our second XI can look something like that

caballero
zabba-otamendi-mdm-clichy
fernando-delph
navas-nasri-roberts/kelechi
bony

this team is better than most of PL first XI teams...i think they can finish in top10

I would have thought so. Let's see as I imagine Pelle will be giving these players a run out in the League Cup, that's what I still call it.
