Yes, broadcasters up the volume of adverts, I don't even watch tv - download the shows = no advertising.

I don't watch live tv, aside from football. I sky+ it so I can fast forward the ads. I wonder how long it will be before Sky develop and implement some form of tech that stops us from fast forwarding the ads?
I'd be willing to bet it's not that far away.

Aparently the volume isn't actually higher, but the sound on the ads is compressed more, to make it sound louder...

But yes - annoying as fck!
