Walking by the canal is probably the best route to the ground. Very safe apparently.

I never have a problem getting a cab to the game, give yourself about 30 minutes to be on the safe side.

Thanks everyone. Will be leaving town around 4ish anyway to have a couple of pints at City Sq so sounds like we'll have no problem getting a taxi/uber. Cheers

Within around 30 mins to KO, I would never get a cab. Less hassle to walk. Get a couple of cans for the walk.

As above the bus service is great but you should have no problem getting a black cab, (Don't you need an account with Uber)

Uber are a rip off musty. You need an account. You agree the fair on your app and they give you an ETA and turn up. First time I used them they were reasonably priced and efficient. Second time I agreed the quoted price and they turned up on time. I received a statementcharging extra £2 50 due to heavy traffic conditions. I closed my account and deleted the app. Robbing twats.

From Piccadilly...tram to the ground is a 6/7 min journey £4 return.
