I can send you some ;)

if you're offering, I would love some dip. Prefferably Winter green flavour. I'm not so bothered about brand. I liked grizzly when I lived there, but skoal will do as it is more accessible.

Or I could fuck right off, your choice

I can certainly look into it, what is it? (sorry I have no idea!)
Is it in a jar or packet?

haha, cheers mate, you're too kind but its too much to ask.

Its american style chewing tobacco/snuff, they call it dipping tobacco.

Its basically loose tobacco that you put on the inside of your lip. Has one hell of a kick (and has awful sideffects).

when you watch baseball, notice their lips. loads of baseball players do it, you can tell because their bottom lip will be bulging and they spit brown...a lot

Honestly mate, really appreciate the gesture but it is too much to ask. No idea about legality etc, but the stuff itself is quite expensive.

I'll happily send some pg tips to you though, I'm sure you miss them! (or at least are unwilling to pay the huge mark up that is charged when you go to specialist stores)

I had a friend come over last summer with instructions to bring Marmite and Heinz salad cream!
My local stop and shop has a small ''Brit'' section that sells stuff very expensively! (small jar of marmite about £4.50)
It has jacob's cream crackers, jam, digestive biscuits, vinegar, PG tips and a few other bits....

Anyone know of a decent retailer of American goodies near Manchester?

There seem to be loads online, but with high shipping costs etc. plus I want to go and choose myself.

The main thing I'm after is pretzel m&ms !!!

You will get those in a shop in Marple, Market Street, think its called stars n stripes

Awful isn't it. I went out of my way to find pg tips. Cost me around $14 if I remember correctly, for the small box. Took them back to my friends to try who all resoundly decided that they prefer coffee.

I had my mum send me a packet of worcester sauce crisps though. Well worth it
