Angus "Statto" Loughran at City yesterday

As I got off the bus, it was a classic "doesn't that bloke stood there look like Statto from Fantasy Football League?" before I realised it looked like him because it was. How gutting for a bankrupt U****d fan to be forced to work at City for the day.

He's gone grey and was deliberately trying not to be seen.

I saw him too but thought he was anxious to be recognised. Then saw Steve McLaren driving in. Z rated celebs jumping on our bandwagon.

He is, I think he might even be honorary president or some such made up title.
He has expressed disturbing rag sympathies though.
Money must be even tighter for him since the beeb drastically scaled back its racing coverage.

Definately an Alty fan. I watched a Cheshire Senior Cup game with a crowd of just over 200 there and Statto was one of them. Ade Mike played for opposition and was terrible, it wasn't my greatest footballing experience.

i remember someone telling me that 'Statto' was now (and always was really) Danny Kelly who is on TalkSHITE and Sunday night NFL on ch4!

Frank Skinner says Statto is a huge U****d fan in his Autobiography. He is from the Altrincham area inevitably so he has some interest in his local side.
