In 2001, I went to watch Union Berlin vs. Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2. Bundesliga.

It was a sell-out, and I ended up in the standing area with the Frankfurt supporters.

At the front, there was a low wall with a wire fence about five meters high.

One lad spent the entire match standing on the wall, facing his own fans conducting the singing. IIRC, he had a cornet or trumpet and he saw hardly any of the game.

I have never seen anything like it before or since!
