Apart from all the usual shite of strikes, costs, the war etc etc I've noticed mother nature has been hard at it and usually she does things for a reason. Huge amounts of hedgerow fruits, blackbeeries, raspberries, brambles, rose hip...never seen so many, acorns, conkers and horse chestnuts by the lorry load and copius amounts of other berries. Apple trees bending over with the weight.... Is she telling us to do the neanderthal equivalent of panic buying.

I would imagine the bumper crops are down to what amounts to be a combined spring/summer season. without looking at stats i'd say April-Sept wasn't much different...maybe i'm just a FOC and all the days are one big fog now in what used to be a fully functioning brain
