I'll be worried to death for Serg, i always am when he comes back from an injury,i keep expecting him to go off with a reoccurrence of his injury.

Nerves have kicked in now. Belly doing cartwheels. Can't beat it, never fails regardless of who we're playing.

Did Pellegrini say that? I must have missed it. Hopefully he meant the left side of a midfield 3. He played on the left after coming on last week and look a bit lost there.
Yup, he did when he was asked about Sterling. In fairness it seemed the question was worded in a way to suggest Delph was benching Sterling. Pele however went with it and stated Delph had different qualities playing on the left. I'm just hoping he meant left of a midfield triangle

I'm hoping so too.

Terry Henry is the kind of bloke who gets a hard on when he sees himself in the mirror.

Happy with the line up. I'm happy with the energy of Delph and Fernandinho to fill in that midfield. I still feel we will need to score at least 2 to get anything out of the game. I'm positive though, time for the big guns to step up to the mark.

Just seen Carragher saying Delph has been placed on the left. I assumed (like he said), he and Fernandinho would protect the back 4 and Silva to float around on the left. I'm sure they will interchange and Delph sitting deep with Toure pushing.

Wouldnt have started delph on the left, maybe in a 3 man midfield but apart from that and what kompany bring out its not all that bad a lineup. Though it will be tough regardless tonight.
