This is all bo**ox by O'Neill. He is trying to, not only deflect pressure off himself by having his excuses in early as to why they didnt qualify for europe next year and do as well as last season, and secondly he is putting pressure on Hughes

I like O'Neil, he's a good manager. But I feel this is more an effort to detract attention away from himself. It will be hard for Villa this season, so better to put more pressure on the Boss than take it himself. This is just pre-season buttering up.
