Both sides of away fans giving it them when it’s like this no more intimidating ground in English football

Would moving the away fans help with atmosphere? Not to 2nd tier so scousers can throw pints at us. But so we can have the full south stand and all the standing seats. The rest of the ground is dead so why not shift the away to one of the silent corners.

You could always cook the chicken and fix the roof before you try to fill Old Trafford.

How many more times?

GMP won't let the club move the away fans as the away coach park is adjacent to the current away end.

Under PL rules a % of away fans have to be pitch side to aid the atmosphere.

The only way to move the away fans to one location inside the Etihad is to expand the away end on L1 to include blocks 111, 110, 109, 114. That way the away end and away fans stay adjacent to the away coach park, and all the away fans are pitch side, just like they are at Arsenal and Spurs. It would mean relocating all City fans in those blocks. Moving the away fans from SSL2 and SSL3 would free up those away blocks for City fans.

Compare our magnificent support in a knockout home tie v Bayern earlier this year with the rags tonight in what is essentially a knockout game, chalk and cheese.

Barely heard the rags all night above the incessant Bayern drone

Might be a stupid question. So why are away fans not pitchside at St James's Park or Old Trafford?
