Pau Torres has just gone to villa for £31.5m. 30m euros sounds like a fair price for Laporte who is a bit older, probably higher wages and no resale potential after his contract is up with a new club

Left footed centre backs are rare in the market, what about Laporte has made him so undesirable? The wages and our asking fee? Surely there’s more clubs interested if the reported fee of €30m is even close to real. He may not be of use to us but he’s still a fantastic ball playing centre back.

Bet there is 3/4 clubs in the premier who would buy him but seems he wants to leave English football. Going to be hard to find a club who is going to pay hard cash for him..

I didnt realise Torres was so young.....wow,thats a bargain.Emery is doing a fine job,Villa will be knocking at the top 6 door no doubt.
