Balkan Boys Too Easy A Target

This is fast becoming a 'Savic has cost us the league title' thread...

As someone else recently posted, no one player has cost us any defeat - it's a team issue - we win as a team and we lose as a team.

Take Swansea... ok, it was a poor ball from Savic, but then you've got Clichy not closing off the cross and both De Jong and Richards leaving Moore with an easy header three yards out... in fact what was Richards doing? Certainly not trying to go for the ball....

...so lets leave Savic alone and get back to supporting the 'team'!

People criticise them mainly when they deserve criticism, which is about 80% of the time they start games ( 95% in Savic's case).
If they play well they get praise, or sometimes even when they don't play well but we win, people don't notice how shit they were & praise them anyway.
So far in their City careers, there are quite a few players we could have signed in place of each of them which would have made us a much stronger squad.
None of them have been worth their transfer fee upto now.

Well, fortunately (at least for those sharing your sentiments on the issue) Dzeko is with one foot out of the door, almost certainly leaving at the end of the season. If we omit English media, Ed is absolutely prised all over the Europe, but most importantly in Spain, Italy and Germany. Milan, Juve, Inter, Real and Bayern, all awaiting (I would bet on exchange with Real (Ighuain-money-Dzeko), but only if Mourinho is to stay with them because he chasing Edin since last season in London and again when he took Inter then Real). This means, it should be easy to sell him or swap him....
Kolarov too can count on his place in Italy, not to mention Barca. Savic is young and very talented, his carrier is safe ...

Dzeko on the way up
Despite having his fair share of doubters in his first six months with City, Edin Dzeko (5th) continues his progress in the Castrol EDGE Rankings.
The Bosnian striker has really kicked on this season and currently boasts a better minutes per goal ratio than league top scorer Robin van Persie. Edin Dzeko has found the net every 93 minutes this season, compared to 98 minutes for the Dutchman. However, van Persie is a more complete player, having delivered eight assists for his teammates this season as opposed to three for the City forward.

(...) Dzeko is the latest City player to make a mark in the Castrol EDGE Rankings along with Joe Hart (56th), now ranked as the top goalkeeper in the top five European leagues. He boasts the most clean sheets (12) and the best saves-to-shots ratio (79%) in the Premier League this season.

He will be an easy sell !

If we do sell any of them in the summer, we won't get back the money we paid for them, unless they have a fantastic end to the season & raise their profiles. It's obvious to anyone who isn't a fanboy, that Dzeko has been nowhere near the same standard as Van Persie, whatever your stats say. Kolarov has played a handful of decent games since we signed him & Savic is a waste of money.

They are 3 different cases.
First, Savic was awful in most games, but he's is still young and unexperienced, no one other should be blamed but Mancini. He should have put him in the fire as the boy wasn't ready yet. Mancini's fault.
Second, Kolarov played some really important actions, assists and goals. By far the best left back in the club, I don't understand people who want to get rid off... Then get rid off Micah, Zaba and Clichy, because none of them played in any kind better than Kolarov.
Third, Dzeko scored 18 goals and, corret me if I'm wrong, played 8 assists this season. The best goal per minute ratio of all City players in the league. Not only that he scored, but also assisted other teammates for their goals which is sometimes almost equal important as a goal. It seems like some people only wait for him to make a fault, so they can get on his back.

In the end, all three are City players. Fans should support their players in good and bad, it doesn't help the team if you seek for their replacements after every fault they make. What do you think, how will it affect player's confidence if you say "get rid"? And It's not only about these three, there are certain other players who don't get the support they deserve and fans get too easily on their backs.
