Why do it though? The guy was clearly restrained by 4 stewards. The fact he's had to walk a fair distance over to a helpless person and given him a slap isnt going to help his cause. I remember Bosnich man handling a player off the pitch but at the time it was just him and the fan and with no stewards in site.

We have injuries galore and a ban to boot. If he gets a ban then we have to rely on Tevez to score all our goals and no offence to the guy, he's hardly prolific is he.

Don't think he went over to actually slap him, he did that because the guy spat on him.

He won't get banned for it.

Dont expect the fan to make a complaint, from what I have heard from someone at security there he got his arm broke by the stewards, so id expect that the rags will try and keep that from getting out to the press. They will probably do some sort of deal on his banning order to keep him quiet.

I'm not condoning pitch invading. Nor am I saying dont hit rags. Its just that Bellamy has a chance at the moment to cement himself a place in the 1st team with our injury/suspension problems at the moment so why do it when it could get you banned as well?
