Lets say that Mendy was on that early flight from Nice to Manchester, what was it around 12-1pm? So lets say another 2 hours including transport to and from city for a medical (unless he had his medical in Dubai) in which case 2 hours pre flight checks/registration at MCR airport for the flight to Texas which im guessing is between 8-10 hours. So what expext Mendy to join his new team mates on tour at about 11pm to midnight our time and to be unveiled as a City player tomorrow?

IF that was the case wouldn't Sane and Yaya be on the flight? lot of wishful thinking :D

Maybe, maybe not. To be fair any thoery is up for debate at this point given the likelyhood of the transfer and the media silence from Mendy. Personally I think my offered theory is not unreasonable.

Didn't somebody on here say that it had been planned to unveil Alves in the US? Makes sense to do it with Mendy instead.

I think this could be right. Didn't Sam from Goal say he with others were going to have a sit down chat with Alves in USA? Sam gone quiet on Twitter. May not be related but then again.
