I hate birthdays. They are always a complete pile of arse. I hate getting older and genuinely don't understand why I should 'celebrate' it.
Anyone over the age of 35 still enjoy this shit?

Same. I go to insane lengths to avoid it. I even book mine off work to avoid a collection being done for me etc. cannot stand it. Having to fake joy and excitement at a card signed by people i wouldnt look twice at outside of work and a £20 hmv voucher. Very thoughtful, now fuck off.
