Blackburn Rovers fans dreaming...

Burnley were the better supported and (be it limited) the more successful in the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s

It was only Burnley's rapid decline to the 4th division in the 80s and Jack Walkers huge investment in Rovers in the early 90s the put such a huge distance between the clubs. As a result Burnley have found it very difficult to catch up

Considering the economic hardships that have effected both towns I reckon they are both pretty well supported

Only thing i like about blackburn is that i can get a ticket in the away end when city play their

Great away day but that's it, the fans have been a disgrace.

After they beat United a few on Facebook were saying its delayed his sacking, I'd rather us get beat if it meant he was out of a job, chanting Kean out when they was in a winning position.

They were still singing at the match after he's gone. 'Stand up if you're glad he's sacked,' Sad fucking bastards.

I know what you mean. Kean may have done a bad job (just avoiding relegation and then being relegated) but the abuse he took was excessive.

Burnley have only averaged higher crowds than Blackburn in 32 of the past 122 years.
When Burnley won the division 1 championship in 1960 they still averaged lower crowds than Blackburn.

FFS You must have gone in to some 'in depth' research there, I only bothered with a quick post war glance. I certainly couldn't be arsed going back to the middle-ages
