Otamendi has really stepped up since Stones' injury but it has to go to Ederson this month. In a team that has around 80% possession it's not going to be often you can say our keeper has been the best player but looking at the games, he's made defining saves in most if not all the games.

That late double save at the swamp earned us the three points.

At Swansea he made a good save at 0-0 and also that awesome reflex save from a shot that deflected off Delph and was heading in.

Then at Spurs, they came and pressed us very high, which was very successful for them last season, we had Mangala in the back four, Spurs targeted him and saw it as an exploitable weakness but Ederson simply passed over the initial press, pinging 50 yarders flawlessly all game which was absolutely key to us controlling that game so easily.

Also made a few good saves in a tight game against Newcastle

and of course the penalty save against palace to maintain our unbeaten run.

Actually thought it was a tight call this month but after typing that i think it's a fairly easy decision.

Good post

Otamendi for managing to score two goals in two crucial one-goal victories, including the biggest goal scored by a City player (in my opinion) since the Aguero moment.
