Brentford (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Pretty tough to watch given how they decided to play against us but thankfully the Norwegian beast did the business.

Im not sure what Pep sees but thats more than a few games now where teams are trying not to engage in football, rather, looking to turn over the ball around the 18yd box and hoof it over the top. Hopefully we can find a solution, whether it be more direct or faster play or having the FB’s take the ball to the by line before pinging it into the box…..it’s clear something has to improve.

Rodri needs to not start v Bournemouth and also Luton..need that geezer fresh as a fresh thing for the scum.

Struggle at times but still did enough to win.

That quick ball to Haaland needs to happen more often. It’s not rocket science to pass him the ball into space.

The whole team looks sluggish. The new players not really doing much. Kova had a decent cameo.

The plus, stones back and looking class. Akanji was brilliant today. Foden did ok and when the space opened up he looked very good. Again it’s all about the space and build up. We look slow and lethargic.

Still we are in the mix coming up to March. We maybe need the big teams now as it will make the game more open. Well apart from the expensive kick and rush rags.

Not hitting the same heights and winning is a positive.

The line up tonight looked strange and top end seemed disjointed for most of the game.
Thought Phil looked better in the few minutes after Alvares went off.
3 pts is 3 pts.
Got a sneaky feeling luton might nick something tomorrow night, with the dippers looking at the cup final sunday and have a couple of injuries to contend with
Nor a chance unfortunately mate

A new one for the match day experience, got moaned at and asked to sit down by the tourist behind me 10 mins BEFORE the game.

Not sure we're really at the races and don't think we'll win the league personally, too many lapses in concentration, poor decisions and a general air of something seemingly off with the team.

A wins a win, Bobb looks like he'll be phenomenal, glad Haaland grabbed his goal too.
