Does anyone have a list of the amount of times different clubs have broken the British transfer record?
Don't want or need the overall world progression and don't want to include selling to European clubs (like Bale and Ronaldo).
Just transfer records where a player has been bought by British clubs.

Cheers in advance

I blame villa, £100 for willie groves is silly money. Good player but never worth that much. Where will it end.

Weird how some of these records just get broken by a little bit and then at other times we see a massive jump.

The David Nish record to Bob Latchford's and then those in the mid nineties when you go from Collymore £7M to Shearer for £15M and then Veron for £28M.

I think the only ones after that are Torres to Chelsea for £50m them Tia Maria to the rags.
Sergio Agüero for circa £38mill (depending what you read) in the summer of 2011 surely.

Yeah that is odd. Mills to Francis more than doubles as well.
