Started reading this yesterday. Only a few chapters in, but it's already a great read. Would definitely recommend it. All about City during the 1990s.

That's an old mate leaning against the wall reading the paper, followed the Blues together from the 60's and had some amazing times up and down the country. Unfortunately lost contact him over the last few years, some of the Wythenshawe lads may recognize him.

His latest one on City Folklore is a wonderful, potted (although still 200 pages) read on some of the key events and themes in our history.

Read the first couple of chapters last night and this is a very well written book. A few tiny pieces of trivia I enjoyed so far: Pellegrini smoked cigars, and Mancini said nothing at all to the players before the QPR game.

Early days yet, but so far this is up there with the best of City books. Hoping to finish it tonight.
