I make it that they are through, they beat Basel 3-0 so have the better head to head, no matter what Basel do, they also beat CSKA 4-1, so unless something very strange occurs they win the group.

6-0 win or better for CSKA. Look on the bright side though, if they don't match Basel's result, it's a choice of Besiktas, Barcelona and PSG as things stand.

If teams finish the group stages level on points isn`t it based on head to head? The BBC say they haven`t qualified yet? But they are 3 points clear, and head to head they would finish above Basle, and Moscow would have to better their 4-1 defeat at the Swamp on the last game. ?????

If 3 teams are level it goes to goal difference in the games between them in a mini league type thing or something like that

They're +6 on the head to head, as it's not aggregate score between them and CSKA, the results against Benfica would be wiped off and it goes to goal difference.
