Championship Thread - 2023/24

They will probably come up a better team more settled and more of a game plan on and of the field, ready for the new 50k stadium that will be built under there new ambitious owners
Eventually they will but I doubt it is going to be any time soon as they have been flirting with relegation for quite a while.

What the fuck getting a cup for coming second the game is fucked
Saw this last week in another division.
Thought WTF myself at the time, celebrate promotion of course but a cup for coming second is over the top.
What next a cup for staying up, a cup for finishing in the play off places.

Just noticed that; medals as well. Seriously, what the fuck is that about? I can barely understand losing finalists getting medals, let alone coming second in a division.
I think they started giving out runners up medals/trophy as the playoff winners get rewarded with the same and they finish below the team in 2nd
Particularly this one. He's pathetic.
You're not wrong :)

That was the longest 2 hours I'm physically spent

7 out of the bottom 8 teams all won, unbelievable

They were probably still pissed. They’ve effectively relegated Birmingham instead of Blackburn.

Not that many actually mind that!

Congrats Wednesday. Unlucky Leeds, now come on Southampton in the playoffs.
Generally preferred Brum to Veelah but I'm pleased that Wednesday, Plymouth and Roveurs stated up.
