Love cheese on toast as long as it's cut from a block

Tried it with cheese slices and it burn't the fuck out of my gums and stuck to the back of my teeth

Butter your toast, ketchup then the cheese, then whack it back under the grill. Better still grate the cheese then mix it with a bit of cream

Had Cheese on toast the other day for the first time in ages.

Added a bit of Brown sauce as well.

Sprinkle chilli flakes on the cheese then melt/toast/cook.

Would you not grate cheddar or similar? I've found sliced cheese (proper cheese) doesn't melt as well as grated.

That's not cheese on toast. That's a toasted cheese sandwich. Cheese on toast has to have melted cheese.
