You'd think our fanbase would have exploded the last decade or so especially when Pep came in I wonder what the data is surely overseas fans don't want to watch the crap served up at Utd and Arsenal...?

I think it has mate. I've been in Oz 30 odd years. You hardly ever saw a City shirt, in fact a lot of Aussies thought there was only 1 team from Manchester 20 years ago LoL... but now I see them regularly. And on display in sport shops. Of course here in Queensland Rugby Union is THE game but City are becoming as well known as DisUnited, Secondpool, Arse and Chavski.

I was thinking exactly the same earlier today.
When I was a teenager and used to get the match day special bus from Aytoun Street to Maine Road,never in my wildest dreams did I imagine how much world wide support City would eventually garner from all 4 corners of this mortal coil.
Absolutely incredible when you think about it.

Not sure this was entirely necessary, and I find it hard to believe it’s accurate, but I guess aligns with the clubs thinking on match going fans ‘legacy’ fans etc.
