English soccer team, Manchester City touched down at Gateway International airport in Polokwane, Limpopo, for the weekend's Vodacom Challenge match against Soweto heavyweights Orlando Pirates.

The match will be played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday. Manchester City is participating in the Vodacom Challenge for the first time. Their Brazilian stars Robinho and Elano are expected to arrive a week later as they are resting after the Confederations Cup.

Jubilant soccer fans, some blowing vuvuzelas, welcomed Manchester City at the airport. They say they are happy to see a team of Manchester City's calibre. LOL
