What time on match day does it open? Tried looking on mcfc.co.uk.
Trying to work out where to go for a few beers, with my lad, before the game against Reading.

As no one has answered you I will give you an idea but if wrong it might prompt someone who knows more....

My best guess is it opens around 12.30 ish. By 1.30 the bars are starting to fill up and pretty full by 2pm.

The beer I find ok but as with everything else near the ground overpriced.

I like it better in August/Sept/April and May than Mid December!

Thanks for that, we may well just go straight there. Weathers not looking too good, so a walk from town won't be a good idea.

No problem with the weather, there's a heated beer tent next to the main stage

I think the pre match entertainment starts at 2 hours before kick off so bars will probably be a similar time

Isn't there a Christmas Market on as well so they are usually open earlier for that. For the Everton match it was 12.45 opening if I remember correctly.

I'm fairly sure that the Christmas market is still on and if by some rare chance it happens to rain in Manchester I believe a roll up umbrella might be useful.
