We've all seen the crap that gets put out in the media and the fact that City are suing the Sun. The media's attitude was discussed at the recent Points of Blue meeting and the club, via Vicky Kloss, made it clear that although they're not happy about some of the coverage, they would prefer to have good relations with the press.
They felt that constantly threatening legal action, as used to happen when Paul Tyrrell was Press Officer, was counter-productive and would prefer to build long term strategic relationships and this was the direction the owners fully supported. However, if someone won't co-operate, as the Sun apparently won't, then they will take legal action as a last resort, after warnings to the journalists and their editors or complaints to the Press Commission.
