I know I'm not alone in being both interested in and baffled by the UEFA coefficients.

I noticed that the ECA post all the latest numbers on their site and it makes for easy and interesting reading.

A few clubs will see drops in their scores as good years fall out of the reckoning next season, and of course City's will go the other way.

I think its worth bookmarking in any case.

Bert Kassies runs a great site listing all of the UEFA Coefficients for teams, and for the countries. He also explains how the numbers work (still needs a lot of time and/or mathematical ability to follow) and lets you pick the year to view the rankings by, so you can see where City will be placed in two years' time, for example, or where we were back 5 years ago.

Also, he does a great little thing showing you where teams will be placed in the CL according to their coefficients, which is really useful if you want to predict what pot City are going to be in at the group stages, for example. He only runs that for the current season, though, so you can't see his prediction for our pot next year until June-July time.

Interesting that this year we have built a (slightly) bigger co-efficient than Bayern despite them topping the group.

I can only assume because they are ranked higher our win there ranked better than theirs here.

Likely to be the fact that England are ranked higher than Germany?

Dont quote me but i think it is to do with the points gained via leagues, ie premier, german league

It's the leagues not the national team

5 clubs dropping out next year puts us 13th and in pot2, pot1 on the way.
