I'm doing my dissertation on the impact that commercialisation has had on City in recent years and am looking to get fans' perspectives on it. One of the North West's Premier League giants has made the biggest move up Insider's Top 500 table, while a new name sits atop the ranking of the region's largest businesses.

The trophy for biggest mover in the 2017 Top 500, which is measured by a combination of turnover and profitability, goes to Manchester City who climbed a massive 457 places from 488 to 31.

The club, made a pre-tax profit of £66.8m on turnover of £351.8m in the accounts covered for the chart, and their fans will be hoping for an equally stellar performance on the field in 2017.
