Err.. I’d say the opposite, they would have been guaranteed to romp (not 79 points) the PL, not faced replays for the FA cup, and waltzed through the CL (rather than having more draws than victories)

United would not have won the treble without the unrestrained spending they made on players like Cole, Stam, Yorke, Keane, Sheringham, Solskjaer at a time when there were no FFP rules.

Grealish ‘handball’ not how the law should be applied.
Casemiro ankle breaker, gets the free kick and iirc akanji gets a yellow
KDB taken out miles from the ball in the box, no penalty.

But no, United would be penalised by VAR…
