My Uncle who was a heavy smoker died in September 1970 at the age of 40 after having one lung removed. Much better these days but lung cancer can come at an early age.

I'm pleased your uncle is much better these days.
Sorry, had to. FWIW I lost my grandad in the seventies to lung cancer and I miss him to this day so I hope you take this in the spirit in which it was intended. I shall remove the offending post and tender my resignation if anybody is offended. :-)
