I Don't know if this has been mentioned already on the forum, but a young man got knocked down by a bus the other night whilst chasing after another person who had stolen his mobile phone. Anyway if you have been up oxford road where it happened you'll see all the city flags, scarves and shirts tied to the railings amongst flowers and warm messages, by the BBC building.
From all accounts he was a mad city fan and was at the Wigan game hours before he died. I just thought it'd be nice to pay tribute to a fellow blue who died at just 21 years old.
The club and his friends have a tribute planned at Platt Lane on Sunday at 2.00pm if anyone is interested. If you can't make it, or don't commute via Oxford Road then just raise a glass.
