Am a type 1 and have to inject 4 times a day. Found out about 8 months ago when for a check up had a blood test and they found sugar. things to look for is quick wieght loses, peeing alot, odd sleeping matterns, drinking lots (i used to drink 4 liters at night) and blurred vision.
Am 21 and have too say my life hasn't change too much still go out on the piss and have a laugh.
get it checked out to be safe but as someone said it does just hit over night

get a blood test done at the G.P . it's probably a virus ? if it's diabetes , it isn't the end of the world . if your test shows a high serum level , it could be a number of things . especially coupled with a very high platelet and white blood cell count , aswell as signs of anaemia . it will either be cancer or bad aids .
