This is actually brilliant- they are telling the public that City are not going to bid for a player they are not interested in.

The press can publish hundreds of articles like this and get away with it...

To be fair the article isn't that bad. There were reports we had bid for Luiz and SkySports were saying it was bullshit and we hadn't made any bid. Not much wrong with that.
