The real figure is probably a third (which is the number that still support him). What this whole Trump debacle has demonstrated is that under the surface there is a huge number of people with bigoted views and I bet the proportions are similar in most countries. It's a bit of a wake up call to those who thought this kind of attitude is a problem from the 1930s that's mostly gone away.
