Many on here are proclaiming that Dunne was sensational last night but what you saw last night was typical Richard Dunne. In the 1st half we played in front of him which is when he is at his best, if he can stand there and go toe to toe with a striker then he will win his fair share. In the second half we suddenly remembered that Dunne turns like the QE2 and started playing balls in between him and the full back and unsurprisingly Dunne couldnt deal with it, he was out of position for our goal and there was a few other occasions where Dunne was flat footed but our final ball let us down.
The Dunne lovers will continue to sing his praises but last night showed what I have said all along about Dunne in that he can be great for 89 minutes but there is always an error/mistake in him that can cost his side the points!
