Ladyman tying himself in knots trying to be an authority.

Same as last summer when he had Nasri going to United.

They paint the narrative early, that way, even if he doesn't call it right, United's excuses are ready-made.

Spurs is laughable, truly. Bale is currently one of the lowest-paid players at the club and is one of the reasons why he wants out and join City.

As for Hazard, Ladyboy will get his answer very soon

I hope the club remembers these cunts when they are trying to crawl up our arsehole in the next few years. Revenge being a dish best served cold etc...

They will all want passes for next Sunday if the title is on. Maybe a few requests will be turned down.

Unfortunately, City's PR strategy is bordering on the amateur. We still want to be liked, and, as you say, revenge will be lifting the title.

Then the penny will finally drop.

Perhaps its a strategy that will work in our favour.I`m certain a lot of the Top Brass at City have been biting their tongues over certain Journo`s and hopefully by this time next week they can stick two fingers up to the twats !!

Hazard wants £200k a week."

Did he also say he wants Europa League football too? haha, hope he comes here!

Re: Ladyman on Hazard

So are we actually signing Hazard then tolmie? How soon is "very soon"? It's difficult to think about anything other than the Newcastle game right now, but fuck me... if we sign Hazard, we'll be in for a treat next season. Hazard is a beast alonside average players at Lille. Put him alongside Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Aguero and maybe Tevez (don't know if he'll be staying?) and he can grow into one of the world's best.

Anyone know what the Spurs salary cap is ?

My Spurs mate claims it's in the region of £75-80,000 a week per player...

Probably explains why their only world class players want to leave and the best of the rest is getting his wage subsidised by his parent club.
They'll never truly compete with Arsenal, let alone compete for the title with a wage structure of a mid to low table club.

'arry was right. It was as good as it got.
Bale's still only on £30k ish isn't he?

-- Sun May 06, 2012 10:34 am --

You are correct, Bale is actually on less than £30k a week.

Robbie Keane was the highest-paid player at Spuds on £85k a week until he left.

Modric was moved to £65k a week last season and along with Van der Vart and Gallas, doesn't top £80k a week.

Unbelievable that they think they can hang on to him.

Hardly likely to suddenly offer him 150k per week.

Trying to sign him, and signing him, are two different things, most on here would accept.

I've received good enough vibes over the last couple weeks to feel confident about us pushing it through.

Only us and United are viable at this stage.

-- Sun May 06, 2012 9:42 am --

Worth adding that Adebayor is probably one of their highest earners at present!!

We are chipping in best part of £90k a week.

Spurs have taken the piss out of Bale for far too long, just because he went there as a young kid.

Re: Ladyman on Hazard

Not sure if many people are aware but Eden Hazard's brother, Thorgan plays for RC Lens and is a couple of years younger. According to Eden, Thorgan is better than him although that remains to be seen. Sign them both up!

I remember Kinkladze saying that Kavelashvili was a better player than him though. Didn't SWP claim that Bradley was a better player as well?
