Rumours of friendlies in the US pre WC too. USA in DC and another South American team.

If it's confirmed we have got Chile I think we shold be all happy with that, these South American teams are inevitable going to do well in the World Cup so we should be getting in as many as we can in friendlies before the competition starts.

It's weird because Talksport said Argentina turned our offer down, but that Mail quoted: 'We had been looking to play Uruguay in the first game, but they are now in the play-offs so we are now speaking with other opponents.

I hope it's a South American team especially seen as we are going into a world cup in South America, it just makes sense.

With all due respect to Australia, how would playing them improve us or test us? We should be playing as many of the top nations as we can in the time friendlies are available to be played, who knows, we might get some suprise results playing good attacking football which could give us extra confidence going into the competition.
