5th sept. 7;30 kick off at Gigg Lane, Bury.
Does anyone know how many of our lads are in the squad.

I was going to go to this game, can't believe that we have not one player in the squad.
 
In fairness its not like our U18s have been doing well or anything... oh, hang on a minute...

Strange...

The national team should take a leaf from the U18 team and play their matches all over the country.
 
We never seem to have any players in the England youth teams. I think this quite a strong team tho with a few like ledson, Armstrong in and around the firs team for there clubs
 
It must be a generation issue with our academy because in the upper age groups we only have Angus Gunn and Ashley Smith-Brown in the U19's and Shay Facey in the U20's.

In the England U17's we have 5 lads from our academy.
 
Brandon Barker is 17, so why isn't he called up? Everyone raves about him.
 
Probably for the best, our nice and tidy passers wouldn't be much use in Englands kick and run system.

Its done on the year you were born so the england u18s are 1997 borns. Barker bryan smith-brown etc are 1996 so too old. The ones that should be in for a shout in this squad are Boadu and Tosin etc as they are 1997s.
