Error on posting to EDS forum

I'm getting the following error on posting to http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=304990

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x99\x8F\x0AV...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.



I've e-mailed Ric directly already. Not had any other problems with other threads this morning.

Ahh, it may have been because of some unicode characters that were embedded. It was a copy & paste from a twitter feed.


Edit: I copied into a plain text document and copied from there with no issues, so never mind.

looks like it was the message you were trying to post and not bluemoons database. Did it have any weird characters in it (praying hands)?
