Im thinking of going on a tour of europe (well, not a tour, but you know what I mean) in a car with a few of my mates, so im just looking for some advice.

Its quite a big route, so do most/all of the contrys in it use the euro?

Heres the proposed route:

Drive to Dover, maybe stop for a bit. Cross the channel into...

...France

Go to Omaha beach then Paris. Drive east into...

...Germany
Go to Munich then head south into...

...Austria

Take a look round the Austrian alps then head further south into...

...Italy

Go to Venice, then Milan and take the easiest route west back into...

...France pt2

Take the easiest way to Marseille, then head further west into...

...Spain

Go to Barcelona then head north into...

...France pt3

Go to Toulouse, then Bordeaux, then Nantes, then head for the channel again and cross it back into...

...England
Head home from Dover.

Thanks for any tips/advice or anything you have to give.

edit: also how long do you think this would take stopping for a day in each place?

also roughly how much would it cost? (were buying cheap shit in cans from asda before we go because the euro is imense compared to the pound, we also wont sleep in a hotel/hostel EVERY night, if we do it will definatley be a hostel type.

and does anybody know the fuel prices in those areas?

thanks again.

you can tell ive not looked into it cant you.

Head from Calais to Strasburg then cross into the South West of Germany into the Black Forest then into the Swiss Alps and then Italy. France part two, Spain, France part three and then take in the landing beaches
