I think you're being ever so slightly facetious, AHT, but serious question: how many matches in either cup have ever required more than one replay? I would think they could be counted on the fingers of one hand. In any case, a replay that still doesn't settle it goes to penalties, doesn't it, but I'm not sure if that's always been the case.

There were 4th and 5th replays back in the day. Probably more on occasion too.

Liverpool and Arsenal once played out an epic, four-match semi-final saga. Imagine what Arsene Wenger would make of that now.
