Fanatics. Mmmmm. Good choice of name given the recent events in Manchester and London being called a fanatic - great, thanks for that
So you've never referred to yourself as a "City fan"?Fanatics. Mmmmm. Good choice of name given the recent events in Manchester and London being called a fanatic - great, thanks for that
Where do you think the word 'fan' comes from?Fanatics. Mmmmm. Good choice of name given the recent events in Manchester and London being called a fanatic - great, thanks for that
Fan yes. Fanatic - not if I can help it given the current meaning of the word - a fanatic is not an over complimentary word in 2017So you've never referred to yourself as a "City fan"?
Fan/fanatic has exactly the same meaning now as it had 50 years ago, what are you bothered about?Fan yes. Fanatic - not if I can help it given the current meaning of the word - a fanatic is not an over complimentary word in 2017
It actually hasn't. If you want to do some research you will see how fanatic has more negative connotations now than in years gone by. Type in Muslim fanatic for example to your search engine, you ain't getting peace loving muslims who are very religious (and therefore, logically fanatical about religion)Fan/fanatic has exactly the same meaning now as it had 50 years ago, what are you bothered about?
Well, yeah, if you type in a different word in front of "fanatics" of course you'll get different meanings for Christ's sake. If you type in "Justin Bieber fanatics" you'll get a different type of fanatic to "Nazism fanatic". Type in the word "fanatic" on its own and it's just the full version of the abbreviated word "fan"It actually hasn't.
