my friend ( PIP ) and fellow blue was found dead this weekend, although not many of you would have known pip, quite a lot of you would have actually seen him turnout for citys first team, pip was a bit of a character from dukinfield but later lived in ashton and did the northern soul dj in a few of the local pubs, well going back to his debut? city were trailing 4/ 1 to feyenord in a friendly at maine road, pip decides thats it ill show them how to do this, tucks his jeans into his socks and on the pitch he goes, taking up the old inside left position he sprinted alongside peter beagrie waiting for the pass of a lifetime, but as luck went he strayed offside well according to the linesman, well as luck as it our finest keepers of the peace decided enough was enough and escorted through the umbro stand where pip decided to put his city shirt over his head to the biggest laugh of the day, another story of pip was in the fa cup at huddersfield outside the ground he was arrested, taken to the court on the monday he was sentenced, his worship says the court fines you £75 pounds mr T, have you anything to say, yes your worship ( i,m £75 pound up ) £75 pound mr T why is that, well your worship ive won £150 on the sweep for first one to be arrested on our coach, it was put in the daily mirror the next day. i could tell you all a lot more city related stories about the lad but it is time to say farewell pip,

Hahhaaaaaaaa.That made me laugh,manc.Seems he enjoyed life to the full.Sorry for your loss.RIP Pip Blue.
 
My old fella had twenty odd trophyless years when he pegged it , he died the day we stuffed spurs at home 5-2 walsh,rosler,beagrie were in the team October 1994 , , everytime we win a cup , my first thoughts are with him , and the fact my sons and grandsons are died in the wool blues is a great legacy , at least pip has seen city back to our glory days , before he died ,maybe not a great consolation to his family though , r-i-p blue.
