FIFA series

So new features in career mode has been announced and even though it looks like its the only things they will change it looks quite interesting.

The first is player training, which hopeful means that they have gotten rid of that limited potential each player has bollocks, so much better when you can shape and train your players yourself.

The secound is friendly tournaments. Before each pre-season you get to choose a contry and tournament to go to tour. Around 10m prize money for the winner and you can bring your whole squad and make unlimited subs.
I never play friendlies but this is a great way to make it interesting.

New stadiums includes Bournemouth's, Norwich and Watford's thanks to the PL license. Fratton Park as a tribute to a Pompey fan who died of cancer, and some others from Bundesliga and MLS. They have also kept the licenses for the teams that got relegated.

Bundesliga will be authentic, just like the PL was last season.

To be honest, it sounds like all the usual fluff instead of real content. Player training sounds promising, but knowing EA it's probably massively flawed or limted. Other than that, preseason games are just a waste of time, then they are just bragging about new licences, new crowd chants and other stuff that doesn't actually affect gameplay in the slightest. I couldn't give a fuck about all the presentation, but that's how they get their money, by suckering people in with a glossy exterior, only to find the game is shallow and flawed once they've played it a bit. Career mode needs a top to bottom overhaul if it's going to become a playable mode

Agreed with that, but if they get player training right its a massive step in the right direction

They've only added Borussia Park so the Bundesliga won't be that authentic. The Volkswagen & Mercedes Benz Arena surely wouldn't have been that hard. Would have loved to see the Millerntor Stadion in the game too (St. Pauli) with the iconic bunker behind the ground.
