Because the games already won? N the other hand who cares the final results thenonly one that count.

I still would have thought we would have been at least top 2 for both tables.

We are obviously not killing teams off as much this season as we did last.

Mahrez was great at getting that 3rd goal in a game which just killed off any opposition attempt at a comeback. That has gone this season.

Mahrez scored late once last season. Hardly missing that.

If we are leading, we nearly always go into keep ball mode second half, even with slender leads.

sometimes we stroll it, other times we give opponents a sniff before seeing it out and on occasions we fuck it right up, none of them scenarios look favorably on us in isolation.

Seeing the frailty in the squad, both in terms of players who have left and injuries, any “victory” at half-time is often held onto by keepball, both to save energy for the next game and tire out the opposition so they’re less likely to get opportunities to score.

Like many, I see our GD has dropped off dramatically, while our two closest rivals have put clubs to the sword. However, I think Pep takes the long view and believes the last 3 games of the season are more important than anything we do before it.
