So he's back where he was when he fled Thailand last time. All that's happened is that he tried to get his money out of the place by going back to face trial and he's failed.

Where that leaves City I don't know. Hopefully Frank still has plenty of free cash to spend on his hobby.

I would imagine, when he bought City, he was working on the assumption he would get some, if not all, of his frozen assets back. Now he's going to get none of his money. I'd be surprised if he thought that would be the outcome, and I;d be surprised if he was willing, or able, to continue with his City 'adventure' given his fortune has been vastly reduced now. My prediction is that he will either look to sell up totally, or else he'll be looking to sell a portion of the club to other investors. The future isn't looking very clear to me, I'm officially worried.

I would say PERHAPS the other is true now he is back out of Thailand, City become more important again as we can be a tool in keeping his name on the lips of the people there. There seem to be those that think this is end game but its far far from that in my view.

Why would you not think of the possibilities of Thaksin, selling part of or all of the club, in the near future is not accurate? I'm not going to backtrack on my views of the whole situation, as I still believe strongly that the stories coming out have been on the cards since PRIOR to Thakins trial.

You HAVE to have contingency plans as a businessman, with 'vast wealth', otherwise what the HELL are you doing running a company, at all?!!

Totally irrelevant if Frank goes for asylum...you are going to have to come up with something better than that to wind us up.
